On Monday, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) dominated the non-fungible token (NFT) market with over US$4.27 million in sales. Though not classified as an NFT collection, ENS utilizes NFT technology as a decentralized domain name protocol on the Ethereum blockchain. ENS allows users to convert Ethereum addresses into human-readable formats, receiving a unique NFT corresponding to their domain name that can be transferred or sold like any other NFT. The $PIZZA BRC-20 NFTs came in second with US$2.18 million in sales, a significant decrease from their US$7.12 million in sales the day prior when they topped the charts. Guild of Guardians Avatars on the Immutable network claimed the third spot with US$1.24 million in sales.
Other notable collections in Monday’s leaderboard included Blast’s Fantasy Top collection at fourth with US$987,910 in sales and the Genesis Fanta Field collection on Solana at the 10th place with US$635,539 in sales. The DMarket collection on the Mythos network came in sixth with US$583,411 in sales, joining other game-related NFTs like Fantasy Top and Guild of Guardians in the top 10. The Bored Ape Yacht Club, the flagship NFT from Yuga Labs and second in all-time sales, ranked seventh for the day with US$470,907 in sales, while the OKX NFT Creation collection on Polygon followed closely in eighth place with US$414,817 in sales. Two more Polygon collections, the Matr1x Fire Weapon, and TTAvatars rounded up the top 10 with around US$350,000 in sales each.
Overall, the Ethereum blockchain led all blockchains in daily sales, driven by ENS, with total sales of US$8.45 million on Monday. This marked an increase from US$4.51 million in sales reported the previous day. The Bitcoin blockchain saw a decrease in daily sales with a volume of US$4.11 million, down from US$11.03 million on June 9. The Solana blockchain reported sales of US$2.68 million, while the Polygon blockchain had a higher volume of transactions with sales totaling US$2.44 million. Immutable recorded sales of US$1.56 million, and the Blast blockchain had sales of US$988,646.
In conclusion, the NFT market continues to show strength and diversity with a variety of collections across different blockchains generating significant sales. ENS, despite not being categorized as an NFT collection, led the market on Monday with its innovative decentralized domain name protocol on the Ethereum blockchain. The $PIZZA BRC-20 NFTs, Guild of Guardians Avatars, and other notable collections also contributed to the overall robust sales volume and variety in the NFT market. As different blockchains continue to attract attention and transactions from NFT collectors and enthusiasts, the future of NFTs remains bright with potential for continued growth and innovation.
